Graffiti decal Haro’s

Just purchased a 2001 Haro Shredder from a member here, I was always into the haros with the graffiti decals especially those early 2000’s Blammos, shredders and Revos. Got to thinking we’re the 2000-2002 Shredders just left over 99 blammos? Both are full cromoly with just different parts installed.

Also what’s the deal with the graffiti decal frames seems like very few around despite some basically being pro frames.

99 Blammos and Shredders were two completely different frames, especially the 00's. Shredders never came with the bigger bottom of the headtube like the Blammos, Pros and Flairs came with. 01 and 02 Shredders were styled after the Mirra frames. http://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/252871/fb_img_15579616330795cdc9c33e2.jpg

Yes you’re right the late 90’s and 00’s shredders we’re completely different.

I was referring to the 01-02 shredders that are like you said designed after the mirra frame but I was curious if they were left over 99 blammos since they are full cromo without the double wishbone frames just like the 96-99 blammos.

Are those scans from a 2001 catalog?

Left over 99 Blammos? First of all 99 Blammos had gyro tabs welded on the headtube. Second, look at the bigger cup on the bottom of the headtube of the 99 Blammo compared to the 01 Shredder. Blammos had a longer top tube than Shredders as well. 01 and newer Shredders are basically 540Airs.

Yup two major differences

I guess visually the 01-02 shredders are pretty much 540’s but correct me if I’m wrong but the 540’s were never full cromo right?

Re: Graffiti decal Haro’s

Actually looks like the 01-02 shredders have more in common with the 96 Blammo frames.

No welded tabs
Smaller headtube
No double wishbone
Full cromo
