Prototype CW VDC

I recently connected with a really cool guy on Instagram. We did a trade deal and let’s just say we are both very happy. Here is my next build. http://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/46779/6a176984-b53b-4466-85d7-2d048ac97bf15cd64c4de6.jpeg

Re: Prototype CW VDC

That is a rare one with the oval down tube welded flat,my brother had a CW just like it with out the 3rd bar, took it back to CW because i flexed to much, needed that bar.I think all CW Loop tail cruisers were made by VDC for CW since VDC  already had the jig made up.VDC is the same frame with 3rd bar added.Stick tail 26 came later and were made by CW.

Re: Prototype CW VDC

For now it will be built without paint. Find some well used parts and it will definitely be a Strand Cruiser!

Re: Prototype CW VDC

Hutch Fun Facts: All main line Hutch's with digits only S/N (no letters or baseballs) on the rear drop outs were US made and had their dropouts stamped between late '83 and '86.  Obviously the frame manufacture would occur slightly after that, even if they just threw 'em in a bucket randomly.  There is an obvious date code in that the first 2 digits seem to be the month and the 3rd digit is pretty obviously the last digit of the year running from '83-'86.

The battery is discharging, the oil temperature is very high, the oil pressure is very low, water temperature is off the chart and I am running out of petrol...but the clock is correct.
