1985 GJS Freestyler

"The Machine"

I picked this up frame only to start. After some drama along the way with a few different forks I finally settled on the NOS standing gear forks. Frame decals are not original to the frame but are original gjs decals. Thank you for checking out my bike!
BIKE HAS BEEN TAKEN APART AND BEING BUILT DIFFERENTLY.....

Re: 1985 GJS Freestyler

Nice job! I always wanted this bike, but when I mailed away for it I got my check back in the mail saying they stopped making the frame and fork. It sucked!
You did a killer job on this bike. I hope you can find the forks for it one day.

Also, maybe you should take better photos for it. The shadows of the trees don't do it justice. Maybe do it against the grass like you did your white 86 Haro Master? smile

Almost a year to the day later, and the dream is a reality. Anxiously awaiting its Re-Reveal !!

Re: 1985 GJS Freestyler

GJS,YES! Drama from picking a fork?

Newbie...
No front brakes, except for freestyle.
Adjust your seat and bars, so it looks like you actually ride.
Use cruiser bars on cruisers.
No laybacks on cruisers either, jeez.
