BMX and Camping

My wife and I are going camping this Friday-Monday. The place we originally had in mind to go, the weather changed on us and they are even calling for SNOW yikes, so I went online looking for a place South of Detroit in the buckeye state. Searching for sites at one campground, I saw this :cool.

Maybe camping and BMX do go together. big_smile
kinda lame thread, just thought it was kinda cool.

That looks cool. Go check out Pokagon State Park in Angola in. Just south of the Michigan border on 69. Awesome dirt trails! Plus great for the kids. We go every year.

Re: BMX and Camping

the track in Bham and the one up in nashville are both at parks and have camping available so im guessing this is pretty common.

Camping only allowed for the Nationals in Nashville. Awesome spot though, right on the lake.

true if camping at the track but anderson creek park has a camping area and anderson road campground is right there as well.

The Anderson Road Recreation Area has 10 recreational vehicle campsites with 50/30/20 amp electric outlets. 26 primitive campsites
are available for tent campers. Reservations are recommended and rates range from $14 – $24 depending on campsite type. 1/2 price
discounts are available for America the Beautiful Senior and Access Pass holders. There is a $3 visitor fee for visitors to the campground.
Laundry facilities, restrooms, showers, and a dump station are among the amenities provided for campers and guests.
The camping season runs from approximately May 13 – Sept. 8.

Doesn’t look like much from way up here but still pretty cool they have that at the campground. I would guess whoever runs it has some bmx background and may have some childhood bikes still...
