From what I have read , they never made Rad on DVD so this is a boot leg copy.

Re: So who bought this copy of RAD

Bootleg copy.

The chick that played Rocky's wife in the Rocky movies owns the rights to it and she wont let anyone do anything with it. I think she's Crue Jone's ( Bill Allen ) mom or some shit.

It's stupid really.

Re: So who bought this copy of RAD

Long story. DVD copies available were typically made from laser disc or were taken from the HD version shown on FX years ago. No official release and nothing on the horizon despite the lobbying and petitions out there.

Same. I’ve had 3 copies of it, and never had a problem with any of them playing

Re: So who bought this copy of RAD

Haha cool

Bracket is correct, her name is Talia Shire.  She was given the production company that owns RAD by her late husbund.  After he died she doesn't want to mess with it, wants it kept as-is.

When the attempt was made to creeate RAD 2 she still feels the same way and wouldn't allow it.

RAD 2 then became Heroes of Dirt instead.  HoD is not terrible, Bill "Cru Jones" Allen is the dad in it lol, but the dude that plays the main character is goofy and a terrible actor.

Re: So who bought this copy of RAD

shes clinging on too the best movie of her history....probably doesn't realize that she'd make a few bucks if she allowed it to become main stream, or maybe she wants us all too suffer...because, well think about the price of nice 80s parts lately....

BMX's version of the "Star Wars Holiday Special".

The less copies that exist, the better.

If I had a time machine, the first thing I would do is kill Hitler. The second would be to kill the makers of this movie.
