Midschool pick ups

Picked up a couple exotic midschool bikes today.  First is a carbon Mongoose with sweet bulletproof cranks.  Second up is a fairly stock Torker Pro XL.  I am not much of a midschool guy but these looked cool so I couldn’t pass them up.

Re: Midschool pick ups

Carbon is always cool!  I’m an 80’s guy but I’ve scored a couple nice mid school rides lately.  The way I see it is a quality bike at a quality price you can’t lose. Nice scores!!

Re: Midschool pick ups

Was chatting to the Goose guy, couldn't do the 4hr round trip unfortunately to grab it. Think the cranks might be Cyclone CPI.

Very cool.

Re: Midschool pick ups

No doubt they were all made by CPI including FSA Afterburners etc etc.

Re: Midschool pick ups

Do you guys think the Mongoose will look better with some 20x1.75 rims or the Spin wheels?
