Re: As the Wheels Turn (This week at the Museum )

shared this with my bro lowrider but  I thought I'd share this about my daughter with the group...

Here's some good news

We have been praying for some vision- just havent seen much change in the last several months

Last night Jess called and said she is able to read and type and edit mistakes on her computer.

She could for some time make out a single letter but letters next to each other would overlap and she couldn't make out words. We now she can, large font of course but still great...

She also told us something strange. She has parts of her vision that are kind of like blank spaces (this we know). Not so much black but places where her brain will fill in what it think should be there. Like she could sit across from you on a couch and  look at you a certain way and make your head disappear....and her brain would fill in the wall behind your head.

Well she has a big blank spot in her upper left field and lately her mind has been sometimes filling it in with an Arizona Cardinals NFL logo !!  So weird, but great that her mind is working on using that space..

Re: As the Wheels Turn (This week at the Museum )

Thx. Crazy eh? The only thing I can think of is when this all went down we rushed to airport and didn’t really pack clothes. Later we bought my little dude a Cardinals hoodie that he pretty much wore everyday. It had that logo huge on the front. So even though she couldn’t tell what it was at the time maybe now it’s coming through... a year and a half later?

And when I think about where he was sitting pretty much the whole time in the hospital it would have been her upper left peripheral.

I haven’t kept up this week. sad
I would prefer my ass to hurt post picnic Canadian colonoscopy style rather than my head and the sinus infection/headache I’ve developed this week. A round of antibiotics and a steroid shot did nothing. Dizzy, lightheaded and no equilibrium. sad

I've had that too. I just drank a shit ton all weekend so that it was at least justified.
