Re: HOT RODS

And John is also known not to pay his bills to the suppliers too. Many companies including Tirerack will not deal with him, they even sued John for not paying his six figure bill.

A bunch of years ago,I followed a link to the SRT forums where JH ripped someone off 15K for a air intake! JH claims he did headwork and replaced the cam and upgraded the valvetrain, along with a ECU reflash, but all John "the con" did was install the air intake and charged the poor guy 15K.This was on a Jeep SRT btw.

Damn! I didn’t know it was this bad. I’m blown away I’ve haven’t heard these things before. yikes

This is light compared to alot of the stuff he has done! Imagine paying what a Ferrari costs new and not getting that supercar John promised you.He has fcuked over so many Viper owners in the past,I am very surprised he is still alive or able to walk on two legs.

This is nuts. I guess all my years of subscriptions to my favorite publications they would never put this dirty laundry out there against John. I’m not saying I’m shocked after the 411 cos anything is possible nowadays.

Question is why is his company still up and running after all this corrupt shit going on? I mean people in this day and age are not afraid to sue the shit out of someone and tell everyone in the world they beat the crook that did them wrong.

John paid all those popular magazines at the time to feature his cars.....I should say beg...money talks, just like $20.

John has changed his company name many times in the past to avoid lawsuits and hid in the background as a shadow owner to make people think he is not involved no more, just to gain trust again.Anyone who slanders John or his company,he will call the cops and press charges on the grounds of uttering terroristic threats or file a lawsuit,he has put plenty in jail for this.

John is a gigantic POS to the automotive world.

Re: HOT RODS

Search for Hennessey lawsuit or scumbag or fraud, etc...and you'll get a bunch of results. There have been multiple Jalopnik articles concerning poor business practices, but, for some reason they are not reachable currently roll

Even the Hennessey Wikipedia page makes mention of the lawsuits and BBB issues.

Re: HOT RODS

Pretty easy to find some info on this guy, here's a good read.

https://www.porscheboost.com/content.ph … n-business

I know at one point around 2001 his lead mechanics quit & opened their own shop in Houston (was TNT Motorsports).  Went to a dyno day at their shop once, they had some real horror stories.

My family is from Granite man, small world.

No kidding?
Do you still have family here  in GC?
Granite city IL to be clear and just wanted to make sure that you didn't have another granite city in mind. Send me a PM if you see this . I am curious to see if I know anyone from your family or if I have heard of them cool

It can definitely seem like a small world when we see or hear about things like this.

Whenever John would go to a automotive event to show off what he has, example cars and coffee, dyno days or whatever,he would always bring his youngest daughter along, hang onto her really close so nobody would want to knock him the fcuk out,due to risking injury to the kid,and John knew this. This scumbag was willing to use his kid as a human shield to save his own ass from getting a beating.

John has been punched out a few times already, and everytime he cried like a little bitch! One day someone is just going to pop him.

I have no idea either, seen it many times at car shows,it is always the hotrod and classic car guys who do this. They should just do what the exotic and import guys do,get scantily glad dressed women to surround the cars instead.

Read a lil of this at work on my lunch break, I shall continue after my nap and finish it over dinner. Very interesting as I never knew about this and how long it’s been going on. Thx for the link btw...
