I inquired about that PK the other day.
They sent me pics of it but I didn’t realize it was a RTT. Damn.

I think most people didn't realize because of the pad on the top tube. I didn't at first glance but knew it was an early one with that decal so i was buying it either way then in the car ride there i zoomed in on the seat tube to head tube welds and noticed they were rounded.

Are you local to where that RTT PK was?

I use to live on Long Island ( now in Florida) and my buddy sent me that info on the PK but obviously it was to far for me.
They were asking $800 for it when I inquired about it.
Glad to see someone got it.

So what’s the story on the RTT PK?
Was it just another member selling or was it just an ordinary person who knew what they had?
I believe a lady texted me back about it.

New Jersey and New York have way more old bmx and freestyle bikes than even California. If you went went knocking on doors 1 out of 5 houses has an old bike in their basement or attic. If I lived there I swear I would pass out flyers on every door in old neighborhoods "Wanted: Old BMX Bikes" please call Zack.

It was literally in the middle of no place surrounded by farm land in this dudes basement. he had other bikes in a barn outside too that my buddy bought. i may go back for the rest. The Pk he always liked so he kept it in the house. He didn't know exactly what he had lol. He had it over 20 years he said. I should've dug a little deeper about how and when exactly he got it. I was just too excited that i threw my money to him while i could and left lol

Ok so question!!!

Should I leave the RTT PK Exactly as found all dirty and with the bell? Or clean it up with soap/water and remove the bell. Not gonna change any parts either way. Just wondering what you guys thoughts are.

Soap & water, remove the bell & don't forget the fresh repack! The repack is Clutch!

This the only thing I ever do to any of my bikes...

I say keep the bell, it's a hell of a conversation piece!  I'd have to clean the rest up and ride it though
