2004 Haro Mirra 540 Air

OG since purchase.  'Raw' color option.  This thing is a TANK

100% OG, including tires, cables, brake pads, etc.  Drive gear on left side.  If you happened across my 86 GT Pro World Tour story, then you might know that this was the bike I bought around 2004 to satisfy a childhood memory.  Although it was a decent ride (it's a friggin tank), it didn't check off all the right boxes for me, because it simply wasn't one of my original childhood bikes.   But I can say that this bike is well-built, can survive pretty much any ramp jump you can throw at it, and weights about the combined weight of two 80's bikes.  Rides smooth, nice gearing... but it's not your 80's freestyler.  Now that it's over 15 years old, maybe I'll keep it a bit longer?
About 10 years ago, I lent it to my 8-yr old son at the time, to ride around the neighborhood as his bike.  In my mind, I figured a $350 Haro might have been cool for him and his friends.  Well, I guessed wrong.  Kids had a different perspective than I could relate to... and I guess I forgot that they don't really pay attention to how they drop a bike in a hurry, whether or not they lock it up, where they leave it when it rains, etc.  So, it got a decent amount of abuse for a summer before I swapped it out with a more appropriate bike for the kiddo.  But all in all, it's still exactly OG.  And now he's too tall for a 20" bike anyway smile
