A very good weekend!

My buddy who owns a shop worked out a deal on the pk(someone brought it in) awhile back,so I picked that up on Saturday(check the bottom bracket for a crank bolt that went around and drug on the b.b.-what an idiot!).While I was there I picked the shop and came up with a few smalls(headsets and orphan crank arms-anyone have a match?).Then today I hit up stop shop and save swap meet, and scored the huffy cruiser and scrambler(anyone id the forks for me?) along with some sweet Schwinn items and all the smalls you see.Really stoked on the Squid art prints from 1980.Enjoy!http://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/133551/img_77725c60c8257a.jpg

Someone at the swap said the same thing.I bought it from the original owner, whom couldn't remember what it was, but he said he replaced it in 80'.Guess I'm going to take it apart when I get a chance, and see if it has any markings

Sure look like race inc.-Whale tails are from the eighties-you drilled a small hole in your drop out and put the bolt inland they were shaped like a whale-with ridges to catch the bolt and take up slack and keep your wheel from slipping.Great idea at the time except for the drilling a hole in your frame(if you ever see a small hole in a frame, and are wondering what the heck it was for-now you know)

Those Squid prints are cool. I think they are by the same artist as some posters I recently found. Dale Davis:

Re: A very good weekend!

Tange fork I think. Will be stamped on the steer tube with date code. Great haul. Love the blue lever and also could use 48s if they are cheapies.
