Free score! Rough but the price was right!

So recently I had a child hood friend message me and ask if I would save his old bikes from his mom, who had recently sold their house. I said sure, and in a small blizzard went to pick the bikes up. Nothing too special, but you really can’t beat free! (Apologizes for the laundry room pic, the shop is under construction)

I remember when he had gotten the Mirra, it was the coolest bike on the block. Blew my Toys R Us X-games rig out of the water haha he had an OG photo for me to share.

Don’t know if I want to bring the Haro back to it’s former glory, but the Dyno sure will make for a nice rig the nephew can rip on

Re: Free score! Rough but the price was right!

Figured the Haro out, took me a little bit but I narrowed it down to a 2001 Mirra Flair. Had to account for the black forks, decals, and a few other parts like the LHD option you do not see very often.

I think it is pretty cool that if you find something like this, you can look up the info just by using a few key words and looking through the bikes on the museum here

The Dyno is a cool frame, doesn't look bad at all, I'd build that one up for sure.

The Haro, I say fix it up if you feel like it; its current state doesn't do it justice. I'd say at least a thorough cleaning / de-rust, etc. would be good and look a million times better.

Both cool pickups! cool

Definetly a 2001 Flair.  In 2001, the rear brake cable ran through the seat tube, in 2002 they went around it.  You can see the difference in the downtube and seatpost tube.
