2018 Stout 26

Street Cruiser Deluxe

I wanted a 26. I wanted something different. I live in Texas. A lot of guys ride Fireman's around here. Don't get me wrong... I love a good Fireman's and #4 is some good ass beer. But I've always kind of dug new school shit. I had seen a couple frames Matt made in person, and heard from the owners how much they dug them. I also heard from people who know frames that the quality is unbelievable. I knew this already because in April of '18, I bought a set of bars from Matt. These bars... I was going to put them on a 24" I was considering building. I just couldn't... I sold the other frame
November 2018: I pull the trigger.I told Matt I wanted a 26" loosely based on a couple of the new school bikes out there. Stolen Zeke, Subrosas... something that didn't have the retro geo for straight cruising. I did want the the seat tube tall so I could sit and cruise when putting in some miles. But I wanted to have a little more fun in between. I sent the numbers I thought I wanted. Matt made a few tweaks. Lowered the BB so I could cruise and shortened the ass end for the rad factor. I love it! It's responsive and fun, quick and yet comfortable. It's gorgeous too.
Parts list: Frame fork and bars are Stout   S&M: Stem and Sprocket 25t, Revenge rimsOdyssey: Pedals, Short levers, Evo 2 front, Evo 2.5 Rear, inner cables    Shadow: Seat, post, chain, grips    Profile/Madera: Mid BB, Seat clamp, cranks, Profile mini hubs    Stolen: Headset     Cable housing from Porkchop      Kenda Kranium 2.1 tires

Very nice. Looks like the tires just barely fit!
