Re: pepto biS&Mal dirtbike build

I have to admit the stem looks killer, even though the black ´neck was nice, too.

Re: pepto biS&Mal dirtbike build

I had to file about 1/16 off the profile bb spacer for correct fitment. http://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/48344/20190119_1250235c448a3ba2.jpg
I cleaned up the inside with a round hand file after the pic.

Re: pepto biS&Mal dirtbike build

Installed a new Shimano sf-mx30 16t on nos Suzue MHS/Alex AL-7x23f wheels. I really wanted 3/8 axle wheels for the build but couldn't resist this pair, they are slotted 14mm. http://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/48344/20190119_1317115c448cfe2e.jpg
Super smooth hubs and the chrome is awesome. Not sure on the tires...I like to run 1.90 or fatter on front and rear. New Comp 3 1.75s are mounted now

Dude, this is coming along WAY nicely, killer build! The color looks so dope on the DB, I love it! Those 1.75’s should look nice and fast on there, I kinda like that look! Great job man! coolcool

Re: pepto biS&Mal dirtbike build

The parts collection is looking great so far! The black ano stem would have looked out of place with all the other shiney bits, good job on deciding to polish it.

Re: pepto biS&Mal dirtbike build

I sat the stem on the forks when it was black. I decided then to strip it. It was out of place
