2003 Specialized S-Works

Picked up cheap.  Complete street/park model.  Built with Haro components st Reynolds 853 rare

Wasn’t looking to buy a bike this new.  Anything beyond 2000 doesn’t really pull my strings.  Got on the museum and found out it was a one year limited run top shelf frame that retailed over $800.  Really I bought it because I wanted parts off of it and I wanted to see how this guy Reynolds frame rode.  Drove over an hour away from my home, took 2 toll ways and finally pulled up to a singlewide.  Low and behold this guy purchased this bike as is from a semi pro that is remain nameless because I have no proof.  He said $150 or $200 with 2 wheel sets.  I paid the $200.  He claims he has had it put away for a decade because the locals know he had it and wanted to steal it all these years.    I’m not making any of this up.  It was a trip to say the least.

Life is short.  Spend it!  Looking for: I will PAY top dollar for a Fishbone 1-1/8 X-UFO  detangler.  Also need Hevron Haro stem.  Have mid school goodness to trade also.

Nice bike. You put the Haro parts on there or the previous owner?

To live is to suffer, to survive is to find some meaning in the suffering.

Bought at is.  Haven’t touched it yet other than playing around with different handlebars.
