1985 Redline 500b

More than meets the eye!

I picked up a 1985 500b fork and frame set back earlier this year.  I had a hard time deciding what I wanted to do with it until it hit me out of the blue.  I would combine two of my loves of the 1980's.  BMX and Transformers!  I sent the fork and frame to my friend Chip at C4 Labs.  Chip laid down some beautiful gun metal gray.  I then contacted my friends across the pond at Ape Labs for some cool custom Decepticon decals.  Since I opted for this to be a theme bike I figured I would pretty much fill it up with some repop parts. Purple Skyway Mag's wrapped in some gray Snafu tires, Purple AME grips and a purple Profile stem.  I added some Redline cranks and VP pedals.  What you see is the end result and it is exactly how I wanted it.  Enjoy!

Deep purple and gray is shocking. I like it!!

I can't believe the way people mistreat bikes. It also amazes me how many people don't have any bikes and never ride them - poor miserable souls.
