2014 SE Racing P.K. Ripper Elite

KILLING IT FOR THE KIDDIES!!

I'm calling this build killing for the kiddies because I built this PK Ripper Elite to give either of my daughters exposure to BMX and possibly get them out on the track in hopes that one day we can twist the dirt bike throttle together.  Noticing how one of my daughters can "dig deep" when we hit a hill  as we go for a bike ride, I figured a lightweight race bike was in order.  I started with a 2014 NOS Frame from PlanetBMX, sourced a Euro BB and crank made by CPI from Troynlori.  At the LBS I bought a Kink Foundation II Fork, SE Racing Narler Stem in Gold, and The Shadow Conspiracy Headset. For my bars I used Rant Chromo 8.75" rise bars and got some nice SE Racing, S1E grips from Capt Nemo in a grips score and used the black on black ones.  Then I traded grips from the score with Arclite74 for some nice NOS 26" GT Performer Pedals. The wheel set was also NOS Mongoose hubs laced up to some beautiful gold hoops sourced here from WyomingPycho, they remind me of the gold color Honda used on their mid 80's bikes!  I finished off the build with some Tioga Power Blocks and Blitz Lightning Bolt SE Racing seat.  This build really became worth it when I heard "I love this bike" multiple times well after the sun went down as my oldest rode it up and down the driveway the night that I finished it.  I built this bike from the 2019 Calendar Submission.  Wish me luck and thanks for looking at this beautiful SE Racing PK Ripper!

I'd suggest a padded seat smile
