1980 GJS A Frame

MY ORIGINAL RIDE OF 23 YEARS

I owned this bike back in the 80`s and rode it religously everyday with my oldest lifetime bro JP. Somewhere down the road I traded or sold my GJS for one reason or another and then lost track of it.I always regretted that foolish mistake to part with that bike. Then a few years ago I was talking to JP and mentioned how I wish I had the GJS still, he said "I think I know who has it" and a short time later he showed up at my house with it my GJS in pieces but all there just as it was 23 years ago AMAZING !!! This is my 1980 GJS S/N 1040 I have owned this bike for the last 23 years with the exception of a couple when my buddy had it. I just finished getting her all shined up and ready to ride !!!! Yes I said ride I know it`s a four letter word for some on the museum but not me:lol: The parts list goes like this 1980 GJS frame, 1980 SE Landing Gear unstamped fork, GT unknurled pro bars, Bulldog stamped pro neck, 1st gen Clemtwin cranks with correct right & left stamped arms, Suntour sealed pedals, Araya shiny side 7X rims with Clemtwin rear hub and early engraved Sunshine sealed front, nos Shimano tourney rear brake with nos shimano DX lever, Suntour seat clamp, sealed bottom bracket, mongoose stamped headset, nos aero seat, generic fluted seat post, ame grips, dura ace cable clamps, nickle chain and cheng chin tires. I would like to give a HUGE THANKS!!! to to my oldest bro JP for helping me get my bike back this bike is a true survivor.
