2001 Mongoose Pro CRX

Craig Reynolds Express replica

Back when I built this bike it was "new school", but it took me almost 16 years to post it so I guess it's now "mid school'. :)  Built this racer back in 2002, very close to Craig Reynold's own ride at the time.  Mongoose Pro CRX frame, Answer AL forks, Profile crankset, SS hubs and inverted stem, S&M Race bars, Shimano brakes and DX pedals.  And yes, UGP pads ('cause Craig Reynolds would have approved.)  Was stiff, fast and black.  Hope you like it. - Kevin

Yeah, I believe so.  Craig raced for Mongoose in the early 2000s.  RR was earlier than that, though I'll admit I wasn't a racer so didn't know much about Craig until I started following him in the magazines around 2001...

Thanks.  Yeah, the build quality on this frame is super nice, from the welds to the detailing.  The decals are thick, which I kinda like.  Believe the TT is 20.75 or 21".  I can't recall, honestly!
