Exactly...and I am glad I am going through this process for $17. It's very good education, especially in the event it ever occurs for a more substantial dollar value.

Re: Calling out member Wiisanen

I tell people this all the time, if you actually take the time to read the fine print in ANY warranty or guarantee - it usually always gives the company some "out", unless an unreasonable amount of criteria be met first.

I do contracting for a living and the products always have some BS Lifetime Guarantee - but the fine print means essentially, there is NO guarantee - unless you're willing to do ALL KINDS OF EXTRA form filling, and unnecessary documentation that you didn't know you needed prior to beginning the installation of said product.

But all the customer sees is......LIFETIME GUARANTEE!.....and their sold!

Anyway, I hope PayPal pays you what is rightfully yours, you didn't do anything wrong.

Great.

Let that be a lesson to all out there. Don't F**K me, regardless how minimal the "value" may be.

I'm very curious to see what Paypal does next, this would fall under THEIR insurance, one would presume - finally crediting you the $17, but who knows how long THAT phase will take.

I'm glad you're going through this for the $17, it is good in principle, and that's what the Paypal protection is for in the FIRST FREAKIN' PLACE!???

It's not so much about the money,it is about the point. This goof is ripping people off.

I'm 100% behind his effort to get the $17.  If my post didn't read like that, it's my fault for not being more clear.

This is the kind of stuff that pisses me off, your supposed to be protected by using PayPal, but then when you actually need to follow through with a legitimate claim, there's a coincidental delay that's SUPER long.  I'm sure it has NOTHING to do with so many people just giving up in the end.

I want to Kurt get his $$$$ back!

Re: Calling out member Wiisanen

I'm surprised Paypal hasn't refunded you yet. They refunded my buyer when item I sent "got lost" in Mexico, and I was on the other end as a seller responding and providing tracking info etc.

That's crazy! It took almost a month of waiting, but I got my money refunded. I'm still shocked they wouldn't complete it since other claims have been filed against him.

PayPal f n sucks. Part of the reason I have a neg feedback because they dicked me.

I didn't read all 10 pages but should we set up a gofundme for the hammer? I'm in for at least a dollar.
