1985 Mongoose Californian

My ride in 1985 as an 11 year old.

One summer day in 1985 I had one heck of a decision to make. Did I want the blue/chrome Cali mongoose or the 600c hazard yellow redline. After looking over both most the morning the mongoose ended up the one.  Even though I sold it a year later to buy an 86 Gt performer the 85 California mongoose will always be a favorite of mine.  I had to have one again so I built this over the last year with all original 85 Cali parts. New seat, chain, tires, grips, and a repop pad set. I chose the 83 pro class rims over the 85 for the chrome. Thanks for looking.
