1987 GT Pro Series Team

Here is the parts list for what I found to be the correct factory parts except for the hoops.

Restored parts:
GT frame and forkGT circle stamped pro barsGT circle stamped layback seat postDia Compe tech 7 race version leversDia Compe MX 901 brake caliperDia Compe 87 stamped brake cables87 GT seat some scuffs new decals og guts87 GT seat clamp wing logo 4 holeAraya rimsGT 1st gen race lace hubs sealed/hollow axleOriginal Shimano freewheelDk square corner stem
Now for the nos and original parts:
Nos AME Buble font roundsNos GT number plate and decalsNos GT Power series cranksNos GT 3 wing power discVery nice 43t chainring oh paintNos Sr speedtrap mtp100 sealed bearingNos did chainNos GT winged logo race version tires
Finished this a while ago and will be parting this out soon, on to a rl20ii next.

these were great bikes. used mine for general street thrashing duties.
interesting how the loop around seat stay was a one year only deal. they were a weak point. i bought one with a crack in front of the seat tube and had it welded up. rode it for years.

Its faster to part it and it produces more cash in my experience.

Those bars are not the ones I got from you, in fact that is a completely different bike. Lol the one you saw at the show is a different pro series. I regretted selling the first one and built another almost identical. The second time around I changed a few things I didnt like on the first build.
