1980 Coast Wheels

The Highlander...There can be only one!

There are sweet finds, rare birds, grail's and what I refer as The Highlander.  Everything built is formed on a foundation.  For CW Racing that foundation was Coast Wheels. This is the first and only 20" Coast Wheels on the museum and to my knowledge the only one known in existance.  I would like to thank all the site members who helped me research this bike.  Enjoy the pictures

Re: 1980 Coast Wheels

Great piece of history.

Let's face it, after a long day, sometimes all you want to do is flop down on the couch, flip on the TV, and chow down on an easy-to-eat dinner.

Legendary find. A myth has surfaced from the depths of time. The BMX Gods are smiling.

Instant fave!! Love it, love it, love it!!!

Check out my 1983 VDC-built Trident, 1983 Kuwi Laserlite, 2010 GT Ultrabox 2, 2011 Crupi race rig and prototype Quamen, plus the all things Crupi & old school scene in Japan threads. Always interested in buying used, mid-school race plates and pads - UGP, Knucklebone, Lizard Skins, Odyssey and Pryme to name but a few!!

Re: 1980 Coast Wheels

The missing link to all CWs ever made.

Now, this is a rarity.
