1979 Schwinn Scrambler

79 Scram SOLD

1979 Schwinn Scrambler in original finish brite orange. Ashtabula fork, alloy v bars. Oakley style grips. Schwinn seat clamp, post & seat. Sugino cranks, Monarch chainwheel, schwinn B.B. VP bear trap pedals. Steel CMC rear & alloy sumo front wheels big n little compiii tires. KMC crazy chain, alloy kickstand. Sweet lil scram! Thanks. JJ43

Digging the Hawthorne chainwheel, never seen that one before. how many teeth?


Needs: 79 or 80 nos/mint Chestnut brown SX-100 or SX-500 Scrambler frame - Single Gusset, smooth brazing, made in Chi-town not Taiwan.

It’s a monarch, not a hawthorn.. couldn’t remember.. 43T, prob off a girls bike.. often have smaller than men’s.. easier to pedal.. also flippedit around it’s dished in now, chain Alignment is great. cool
