1965 Schwinn Stingray

This is a 1965 Schwinn Stingray. It is an early piece of bmx history. The kid in those days were very creative on how they attempted to re-enforce the spokes on those heavy duty wheels. The chain-ring was inverted to give the chain clearance so the tire wouldn't rub. One of the peddles is cracked in half. Who ever had this bike rode it hard! Great piece of Americana!
