1999 Haro Cozmo

Now old school 90's Haro Freestyler -they don't build them like this anymore!

I bought this bike brand new back in '99. I was working a job that required a lot of weekend work so I had down time during the week. I thought I would get back into riding so I did some research on current Haro bikes. Haro was my go-to in the 80's and I stay loyal to brands so after looking at the Master - I had an '86 and '87 back when - I decided I didn't like the flatland frame and went with the Cozmo. Seemed like a nice, tough bike that could endure some abuse on the street or at the park! I liked the clean, chrome and black accents and decided to change out the cartoonish sticker pack for what was at the time the Dave Mirra signature bike stickers. I had the shop swap them out and that's what you see here. My riding career didn't get back on track as expected but I kept the bike, and over the years the bike has hung in my garage. I've ridden it around the neighborhood with my son here and there but otherwise it has minimal riding on it - still original tires - and it's in great condition almost 20 years later. The only change to the bike were the stickers and the pedals - again switched at the shop before I took it home. A great example of the 90's/early '00's bikes!
