Light it on fire...'96 Schwinn Pro Mod

Hello gents! Here to share progress pics of my custom painted '96 Pro Mod that's been on the back burner for almost 20 years.

Purchased the F/F set new and had a close friend of mine (who sadly isn't with us anymore) put his painting talents to work shortly after I bought it. Rode it for the summer of '96 and broke it down, sold most of the parts and it sat all these years until last winter.

Shared photos around here for the last 6 months and quite a few guys have been on me to finish it up and the time has arrived to do so.

Parts list so far as follows..Crupi high flange hubs with titanium axels, Marwi titanium spokes, Spline Drive nipples, Tioga Comp 3's, Araya RB-17s, Profile/GT stamped 180s with Profile titanium 5.25" spindle, Profile BB and Imperial 44t, Crupi pro rounds, Race Face XY seat post, S&M 'dancing man' Slam bars, Crupi Chain adjusters, XS stem. Few more parts on there way very soon. Thx for looking!

Absolutely, those rear dropouts make the bike.

sick, plans for decals?

Collection Complete. If you want to see my actual bikes http://bmxmuseum.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=633623. I stopped adding to MY BIKES because of hassle of uploading

HuffyRider87 claims I'm a 'seathole' because he low-balled me on a bike, claiming its worth nothing and 'just a Huffy' and I told his ass whats up. Just a Huffy you wanted, and dont have. LOL.

Yes, I remember you and I chatted about this months ago about decals on the Schwinn thread. After some time I was on the fence about doing any at all and having to source some down or have them custom made.

Velocals are making some for me in metallic chrome similar to Brian Fosters 1st signature frameset did. New headtube badge coming also instead of the sticker that was put on there after the paint job was sprayed. The oringinal badge was damaged in the removal process.

Re: Light it on fire...'96 Schwinn Pro Mod

Update on this build guys! New Headtube badge, King headset, Brand X chromo forks, NOS Jive Handle Tentacles, Schwinn donuts & pad set matching valve stem dice caps. Just have some Paul's brakes on the way so this build will be complete in a few days and I'll have better sunny day pics to share. http://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/248463/img_11065b79b6b45a.jpg
