Post Your ELF Stuff!

*STAFF, FEEL FREE TO MERGE IF ANOTHER ELF THREAD ALREADY EXISTS.
*
After searching around, I failed to come across an ELF thread -- save for the one that featured the debate about whether or not Dan B.'s stuff was true ELF product.  It seems that the ELF brand has earned a lot of respect over the years, so owning one has been near the front of my mind for some time.  Well, since I've finally picked up my first ELF f/f, I figure today's as good a day as any to start a thread about all things ELF.  Let's go!

Here's the 1993 cruiser I picked up from Jose (vazquizzel) today.  I'm very stoked!

ELF for me was the bike I drooled over growing up. So glad the company is back at home with its rightful owners. Looking forward to picking up a couple NS Elf's. http://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/76036/image5b5d16b7bd.jpeg

That's exactly why I like 'em.  I consider them as a candidate for the best.

There is another ELF thread....will find it later and merge, but have fun for now.

Hutch Fun Facts: All main line Hutch's with digits only S/N (no letters or baseballs) on the rear drop outs were US made and had their dropouts stamped between late '83 and '86.  Obviously the frame manufacture would occur slightly after that, even if they just threw 'em in a bucket randomly.  There is an obvious date code in that the first 2 digits seem to be the month and the 3rd digit is pretty obviously the last digit of the year running from '83-'86.

Just some randoms of a couple of my Elf products. I’ll have to say they are my favorite.

One of the reason I love Elf products is Kenny and Tammy. They are stand up people. It’s a family run business and quality is more important than quantity. I’ve always supported “small” Business vs the big boys. Not saying I don’t own other equipment but my Elf equipment is more special I guess.

Re: Post Your ELF Stuff!

Makes sense to me.  I’ve noticed that 90s ELF and Boss rear dropouts are similar.  Any connection?
