A bmx wedding present?!?!

I wanted to bring a little bit of awesome into this catchall, as it seems some bad seeds have tried to spoil this great hobby.

I will be getting married in October, and as of late I’ve been trying to avoid buying bike stuff and taking in new projects since my big day is a destination wedding and it will take some saving up. I’ve gone as far as letting my pro membership run out for the past 2 weeks.

Well my good pal Tim (revenger712) saw a chance to do something very rad! He was very secretive about it, all he did said was he was going to send me something as a wedding present. Next thing you know, i have this badass Super Stock sitting at my door!

Could not be more stoked, Schwinn is my jam and this reminds me of my first bike back when I was a wee lad.

Not only that, but Tim even hooked me up with some other parts for it, and has helped me out many times before even being a middle man on a deal that put the TS I own into my hands. And to top it off, he even went out of his way and sent me the cash to pay for my pro membership! Thank you brother!

This is such an awesome wedding present, although my fiancé gave me the roll look when I showed her the first gift we have gotten in! lol

Re: A bmx wedding present?!?!

You have a good friend there. Maybe have a custom decal set made to symbolize your wedding date and some history together

Very good, thanks for asking! We’re from Ohio, traveled to Estes Park, CO and tied the knot at the Upper Beaver Meadows pull off in the Rocky Mountain National Park. Had tons of snow dump on us the first day we got in, then 3 days later the sun shined bright and I got to marry my best friend of 10 years.

No moose, but we stayed with 4 other couples in a big cabin right outside of the downtown area and awoke to find at least 50+ Elk outside! It was crazy!

Very much so, he basically helped me build it up as well, almost all the parts came from him through trades. This was actually our only physical wedding present as well, as we did not ask for anything for our reception but to have a rad Halloween themed party and it did not disappoint lol

Nice yeah that place is loaded with Elk. Sometimes right in the streets.

Cool thing about that town is they have tried to keep it the same since the 70s.

It used to get taken over by Hella Angels when I was a kid for weeks at a time. And you had to pretty much stay out

Sweet! I built this 88 Elf up for a buddy for his wedding gift. His wife called me and wanted me to put it together. https://s3.amazonaws.com/uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/221818/0b0a7c42-c02d-41ad-a3db-7e9b2c5ee5835c8458b9e9.jpeg

Super rad!! My wife was confused when I first got it, but even today she thought it was cool as I built it up. Hell she might even steal it to cruise with me, she hates all the old school freestyle bikes I build and make her ride lmao lol

We love the vibe it puts out, and the fact the people in the area are super nice and welcoming. As we got married a few hikers stopped by and joined our party, and after the ceremony was over they congratulated us. More hikers were around as we got the usual wedding photos together and we had more nice compliments being given.

I lived in Fraser for awhile and worked for Fraser Artic Cat and Trailblazers as a snowmobile tour guide. Grand lake wasn’t far from us. Speaking of Moose, I was guiding a mom, dad and their 2 kids and we got charged by a moose. There was a lot of groups that day and she was mad!
