I like that red two speed kick back hub. And all the rest of it. Sweet build.

I like this one even better. I have a 24 I’ve been holding on to for a long time. Gotta get it built

Nice job on this build. Is that a seat post clamp I see holding the coaster break?

Thanks and yes, that’s a dia compe seat post clamp holding the coaster. The color was a great match so I shimmed it a bit to work.

The Schwinn '66 Typhoon 24 is a junior bike for boys ages 7-9 so yeah...a layback is needed.

Hey Mike Troll from Dairyland,  There are quite a few laybacks on 24s that were designed for larger riders here in the museum.  Plenty on old Schwinn boys bikes.  Here's a link to all 24s here  https://bmxmuseum.com/bikes/search?q=&a … ze%5B%5D=4 You should be able to easily spot the laybacks and troll their museum submissions as well. roll

How many? Don’t worry you don’t seem like a true bmxer anyway. Sorry for the troll, fake.

So because he put a layback post on his ladies bike he’s not a true bmxer? Define true bmxer...
