According to the above list this 6 digit 1981 proline  1981 Redline Proline 2 (had NO gusset behind seat, and NO CS bridge)
Any idea where it was made ?

Re: Redline Serial Numbers

Hi I am new here and wondering if somebody could help me out.   I have a redline bike that use to be my brothers back in the late 70's early 80's.  Serial number is 343982.   Any idea what year and model it is?
Thanks again for any help.

That looks like a Proline serial number, but can you give us more info or preferably post some detailed photos of it?

Re: Redline Serial Numbers

Greetings fellas. Got me a nice Redline frame that I cant find NO INFO ON. I asked a few of the Museum fellas offline & none cant figure it out either. Although all suggest the same thing... To post on here & maybe, MAYBE, someone would know something? So it's a split top tube, oval REDLINE stamping under BB, stickered (big) 3 (small) 20 in the RL-620 decal font style, BUT HERES THE KICKER, NO "HANDLE" ON BRAKE BRIDGE! Anyone know anything about this frame??? Thanks!https://s3.amazonaws.com/uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/266410/20201030_015416_hdr5fe86cb554.jpg

Re: Redline Serial Numbers

WHO ARE THE REDLINE EXPERTS/FANATICS THAT COULD POSSIBLY HAVE SOME INFO ON IT, HOBBES? SO I COULD SHOOT THEM A PM. OR DO YOU SUGGEST I POST IT ON THE "NAME THAT FRAME" SECTION?

Re: Redline Serial Numbers

I just picked up a Redline RL 440 TriMoly serial RMCH500191. Can you tell me a year? I looked over the post and could not figure it out. I seen at the bottom it says H might be August but next two digits on mine are 50. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance.

I grabbed this under the impression that it's a pro styler I can't seem to navigate through the VIN numbers not really sure what I bought here hoping it's not a 500 or 600

It's a prostyler. The oval downtube and the brake tab let you know. Also the rear dropouts are PL20 style, so it's not a 500 or 500.

Awesome I was just curious because the guy I bought it from had bought it in the here himself we were pretty confident it was a pro styler but we weren't 100% sure because I had always thought Pro stylers had a little Stander area on the dropouts but maybe it was because it's a 1984 they didn't do that then not really sure but thank you for clarifying I'm extremely happy to know that
