1986 Redline RL-20II

I LOVE JEFFC43

BUILD THREAD: https://bmxmuseum.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=691677

It all started with a stem … I started back into our sport back in 2007, and at the time found an original Cali Red Forklifter stem. At that point I figured "one day I'll be able to build a survivor around her..."

At one point I spent stupid $$ on a 86 that was claimed to have been a survivor - it is still posted and the owner is no longer active. Much to my disgust it had been spray bombed red and restickered. Rather than make a big deal about it I had her restored - it's the other Red 86 in my collection.

That said back in 2015 I landed a TRUE survivor f/f and matching set of Forklifter Free Style handlebars here on the Museum. She was originally owned by Bronx Styler, who sadly is now on the Great Big Half Pipe in the Sky. RIP. All the thanks in the world go to jeffc43 - he sold her to me and I'll forever be in his debt!!!!

'RE' serial, and has the straight rear standing platforms you'd see on the 84/85 model. There isn't a single re-pop part on her, even the brake cables are dated 1986.

My Father once spoke to me and said "The way you look at your bike is the way I see My children, I look past the imperfections and rough surfaces to the beauty of the finished product."

I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness............-Emo Philips
