1985 Haro Master

Survivor Paint and Mostly OG Late Model 85 Haro Master

This is my nearly OG 1985 Haro Master.  I obtained this bike by wearing down my neighbor (who owned this bike since '85) for approximately 5-10 years by asking him to buy it. I’d never seen it, I just heard about him having it and I didn’t even know what year it was when this happened.  He finally brought it over and put an unbelievable number on it that I couldn't resist. Score! Thanks Jerry! During my research here I found out what i have is a late model, mass produced, large gap frame '85 Master sporting Survivor Paint and nearly 100% original! I had a lot of fun cleaning up the survivor paint, soaking the chrome parts in an OA bath including the Redline 180 cranks (excluding the aluminum spider - Thanks CMB) and whitening the Skyway Mags with Salon 40. I replaced the Grips with White AME triangles (leftover from a Performer Build) and sourced new Black Ops vibrant blue brake cables, a few brake smalls, white KMC chain and Kenda White/Skin Wall K55's from Planet BMX and Porkchop BMX. This is my 3rd ever BMX Build and my first submission to BMXMuseum. Thanks for looking and I hope you enjoy!  Updated with Potts Mod stem bolt from Kurt-Rad! Big thanks!!

Build it, Ride it & Break it. That's what "it" was made for.

Survivors BMX are 🔥 the restored BMX has no soul.
