Right now, a Kink Bicycles Phantom Lord. I'm not fussed about forks so for the purposes of this thread, I'll just say same era Kink forks. winkhttp://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/221283/screenshot_20180612-132350_chrome5b1fbb9aed.jpg

That sucks!

YA I sold it bought 2 Torkers  off craigs list for less than what the Redline frame and fork ran
not a bad consolation prize for giving up the redline project smile

It's very sad to know I will never be able to own my grail because of its rarity and it's way over priced value... roll

Would love a Squareback Redline or early Champion, but the one I searched the longest for is now in my garage.
Department store cheapy, but the same bike I had as a kid to dumb to know it was junk at the time.http://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/31445/img_14831-15a837d1746.jpg

you mean this frame?

Yes, but not a 540.  I'm looking for a PRO.  I have an 05-06 Flair as my main rider currently.

Re: What's your holy Grail? Frame and fork?

I waited 10 years to find an original finish looptail Quadangle.  Had a few in my hands that needed total restoration but that wasnt my cup of tea.  Finally found one and its a keeper.
1981 Candy Red Loop Quad with solid dropout Landing Gear forks.

Earlier this year I had a line on one that made my winkie wiggle even more due to it being a factory baby blue Quad but ended up getting F'd over from a so called friend who decided making money on a free collection was more important.  It may look familiar to a few people.  The new owner is a good dude, the previous owner was a great dude and no longer with us....the dude in the middle showed his true colors to put it in a nice way. wink

Re: What's your holy Grail? Frame and fork?

Turned out to be new school for me. Once I rode a 2011 S&M 24 DirtBike I had to have one. Solid with beautiful welds and chrome. Still love the look of old school but when it comes to actually riding new school is it. Glad to say I now.own one.

Re: What's your holy Grail? Frame and fork?

My grail would have to be a '91 Haro Ground Master. Worked a whole summer that same year at a bike shop for $2.75 an hour. My father got pissed at me a few months later over some dumb shit and claimed it got stolen out of our attached garage after he kicked me out for the weekend.

Fast forward 25 years later and he finally confessed he sold it for $100. Still bitter about it and bought a '95 Master new and just restored it this past summer.  http://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/248463/img_10925b7e13553d.jpg

Re: What's your holy Grail? Frame and fork?

My 1980 RRS was destroyed before I got it, and I kept just getting it welded up until someone bought it as a wall piece back in the mid '80s. I sure would like to have one that wasn't busted up wink

Re: What's your holy Grail? Frame and fork?

I’ve had a few bikes go through my hands. I’d have to say a fully loaded Og finish looptail candy blue PK Ripper and a JMC Og finish 24” cruiser ( anything but chrome with bladed forks. I’ve seen a ton of cool bikes and as time goes on my tastes have changed - but always wanted a pk ripper in 83 and that didn’t happen. I still have alot of reissue or retro stuff but my heart is OldSchool
