Re: What's your holy Grail? Frame and fork?

Mine don't exist - I'd want an S&M Black Bike V1, mid bb, 21.25" tt and can fit 2.4" tires and a 2003 Standard 250s, ss brakes, integrated head tube, 21.25" tt and can fit 2.4" tires. Both older frames with nice geometry and character but you can't get good quality street tires that fit.

Bikes: 2005 FBM PW Moto, 2004 S&M Black Bike, 201? S&M ATF, 1999 GT Speed Series 24, 1999 TNT King of Dirt, 2001 Standard STA, 2001 Standard TRLS 250
WTB: Standard stickers (random/any), 2001 STA frame sticker set.

Re: What's your holy Grail? Frame and fork?

A 1994 Hoffman Condor, something i'll probably never find. Or a first generation early 80s Diamondback Turbo with the original black chrome finish intact, I have a survivor fork and stem just not the frame.

Re: What's your holy Grail? Frame and fork?

I built one of my Grail bikes, S&M Sabbath.  My current grail is modest compared to many in this thread.  2005-2006 Haro Dave Mirra Pro.  I have everything I need to build one but the Frame and Sprocket.  I even have decals if I need to paint a frame.  I will find one eventually.  I just missed a couple of them in the past 2 years.

Re: What's your holy Grail? Frame and fork?

A Torker 280X.  It's the bike on which my love for BMX began.  I started racing on it, and later upgraded to a... Free Agent Pro, or XL, or something.  And then... and I kick myself for this almost daily... I got rid of the Torker set.

That's my one real regret in life.  I wish I still had that frame and fork.  And every time I see a Torker 280X, it just... takes my breath away.

Of course, I'll never have one again.  Even if I could find one, Torkers fetch an AMAZING premium price.  It's insane.

I don't ride a BMX bike to look cool to others, I do it because it's fun and never do I think "Boy I sure am cool on my BMX bike."

not a bad consolation prize for giving up the redline project smile
