I found this hanging in the garage at the local funeral home. The guy running the home rode it from 79 to 82, when he hung it up and started driving. He had upgraded everything on it that you could as well. I got it for a cool 200 bucks.

Great thread guys. Kurt, you score to much eh? lol I didn't realise you had old school bikes too.

I also love how you guys are finally coming out with the prices you paid. That's something that is usually missing from the score threads.

Aside from the hoops being pink 7L a seldom seen hoop and the only pink ones I’ve ever seen , they also had the wear marks of the valve caps of which I somehow managed to hold onto all these years. http://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/132277/d421f25a-7591-45a5-a109-7cc900bc0cee5aeef5e974.jpeg

I don't typically have a problem with posting a price however when the time comes to sell, I have heard on more than one occasion "dude cut me a deal, I know what you paid for it" with the expectation of me selling for closet to what I paid.

Worked out transportation both ways, mostly thanks to the help of Don/Leatherman/dipsomaniac. Built it into this mostly with parts I had been hoarding

Here are some of my best scores, and they were all free.  These were my neighborhood friends bikes growing up.  I found the VDC in the trash along with the Skyway Streetstyler.

I agree kurt-that's why I stopped posting them. It's a lot of work finding stuff,so why shouldn't i make something off it.I look at it like this.If you found an old(place anything of value in here)-do you give it away? No,it's worth market value,no matter how much you paid for it.

Yep. Collector value is collector value regardless of score price. I'll give bro deals here and there but in the end it is what it is and we all know that
