1982 Redline PL-24

My awesome Redline PL-24 Cruiser. This has always been my dream bike.

I picked this frame, forks and bars from RM Cyclery, in Springfield, Illinois. Very nice guys to work with. I drove from Texas to Illinois to scoop it up.
I actually had the original decals, which I bought from Ebay about 10 years ago.
It was part of a package deal of stickers. I was happy to put them on.
It completed the bike in an awesome way.
I also didn’t like the new school Redline Flights on the bike. So I stuck with the old school Sugino CTs. It made the bike more time friendly.
BMX Texas!

Nice non traditional combo parts. Would be interesting how she will or will not change. And congrats on scoring a bike from your dreams.

Re: 1982 Redline PL-24

Thanks. I just let the build happen. I’m not changing anything on it.
I love the way it looks and rides.

Re: 1982 Redline PL-24

Thank you.
The cranks came off a ST20 1983 Redline 600A.
A match for sure.
