Candy GT Pro Series build

I've been slowly collecting parts for this build and finally getting around to putting it together. Hoping to have it ready for next Gary Turner show. Figured I would share my personal grail bike build with you all. This is my first complete build so any feedback will be appreciated.

Chrome wasn't in terrible shape but I purchased the frame with a drilled hole above the bottom bracket.

Early 89 serial.

So I decided to get it powdered due to rechrome being so expensive. I initially wanted a GT blue but decided to do something not so traditional and went for candy blue.

Bike powdered locally. Sam is a very cool guy and respectable prices too. Give him a try if you're local.

Hoping to update this thread later today with more smile

Re: Candy GT Pro Series build

Alright didn't get as much time as I wanted but did install BB
http://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/215975/20180319_1634275ab87874e2.jpg

Then hit a road block trying to install GT Epoch headset. I thought I had a complete setup. Apparently I'm missing some parts mad
Here is what I have. I have two caps, one being aluminum and lighter.
http://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/215975/20180325_2121355ab87945d6.jpg

I pulled this pic below from eBay. I'm missing fork race and other in red. Orange from my understanding is to keep dust out which is nice to have but not necessary? Anyone got any idea?

So after a long day of hoping to get stuff done I'm only this far hmm

I have an 87 and love it.  Most popular bike on our street growing up for sure!  Can't wait to see how this turns out!

Looks like you like the wraparound seatstay frames. Was a one year detour for GT.
