Was never a fan of the stack height on a Rotor.

SKYWAY SPINMASTER II
These spin sooo well, and easy to revive. Clean and pack with grease and they spin like new.

They're reacting and that's wonderful. It's better than them sitting there doing nothing. I say make them react - do whatever's in your power to move the audience, and if that's where it is, and there where it is with America, sex and violence, then I say project it.

Re: Rotor or Gyro..............
I tried to set one of those up one time. Was about 10x worse than a gyro. Easiest setup by 37 miles is the rotor.
Edited to add that I am also bike retarded and suck at working on them

You probably have vintage cables for the Gyro. Can't speak of the rotor. The SST Oryg basically fixed the Gyro's issue by shortening the top cable, which Ody started doing after a while as well. Gyro's used to come with long ass cables that always slopped it up. Hell IIRC you could put SST cables on a Gyro that had the same size cable ends, and it'd work as good as an Oryg.
As for me, since I'm mid school, I'm all about the Gyro. When I build my one old school bike, a Mongoose Decade, I will knock off the Rotor tab, so I can fit a Gyro.

HuffyRider87 claims I'm a 'seathole' because he low-balled me on a bike, claiming its worth nothing and 'just a Huffy' and I told his ass whats up. Just a Huffy you wanted, and dont have. LOL.

Re: Rotor or Gyro..............
When I first got into riding I wanted a rotor. I thought they looked cool. But then after having one and learning more about bikes and parts and then getting a Gyro, I learned Gyros were better. You didn't have to worry with raising the stem. The brakes worked better with a Gyro.

Re: Rotor or Gyro..............
Loved the rotor and the simplicity of it. But the gyro made it easier to use on any bike.

Re: Rotor or Gyro..............
Been a while but I recall rotors being fairly easy to setup. I’ve been into new school bikes lately and run back brakes with snafu gyros and London mod.
I keep ending up with tons of slack in the upper cable and find myself having to back the adjusters out almost all the way to take Up the slack. I don’t remember having this much trouble back in the 80’s and 90’s!
