Bars on my Powerlite. Are they Powerlite?

I had assumed so but now I'm not so sure because I can't find another similar set. They are uncut and measure 28.0"

Re: Bars on my Powerlite. Are they Powerlite?

maybe redline/kastan/mosh. most redlines would be stamped RL on the 4th bar ends. some mosh bars would also be stamped there.

dk bars did not have the arched ends on the 4th bar.

Re: Bars on my Powerlite. Are they Powerlite?

Kastan looks to be the closest so far however the geometry and dimensions seem to be different as well the knurling. They are the only ones I've found that also have the concave 4th bar ends

every set i have has RL stamps on the ends.

... but aside from that they look exactly like the mid 90s RL forklifter bars. so maybe they were just made in the same factory as RL but for a different company (like powerlite)
its also worth noting that kastan bars also came in a kind of powerbend flavor so they could of come from the same factory as well.

Re: Bars on my Powerlite. Are they Powerlite?

I wish:
a) the reference section included pics with tape measures showing dimensions.
b) the reference section was good again

Kurt, this pic is from another thread.  Based on the differences in the knurling, I think you can rule out Kastan.

I've seen RL forklifter cruiser bars that were unstamped. My first thought was RL. when did they stop producing forklifters?

I don't know for sure, but I'm thinking either '96 or '97 were the last years.  I believe RL picked up John Purse in '97, and I think his influence led to the brand's move to a more Slam-like bar for their race bikes around the same time.

Re: Bars on my Powerlite. Are they Powerlite?

Hmmm,Redline shape with Mosh curved caps and Mosh are not stamped.Knurling looks good for Mosh too.Could be an earlier version shaped more like Redline.
They don't look all that tall, could be expert or cruiser size?
