1975 Wards-Montgomery Silver Fox

Nice survivor dual suspension BMX bike!

Found this one on CL, once I saw it person, I had to have it.
All original except for the chain and tires.I have to do a thorough clean up on this on, it is in great shape, but it hasn't been polished up or anything like that. All steel wheels will shine again and that surface rust will go away. The sprocket cover is a little mangled and the cranks are bent, so I'll work on those as well.Hope you like it!

That's weird and I like it.

The bitterness of poor quality remains longer than the sweetness of a cheap price.

Thanks man! Yeah, these type of bikes are weird looking, but cool in the context of when they were made and all that...

Monkeywards. That's what my grandma used to call it.

Ahhh, the old Silver Fox brings back memories.  My friend had one and we'd always loosen the nuts on the front wheel so when he'd pop a wheelie his front tire would roll away.  He always fell for it too.

I brings da ruckus to the ladies.

I was given the frame of the 75 silver fox the other day and would like to rebuild it into a bad ass bike then let my nephews break it in. Would upload pic but not sure how yet.

Re: 1975 Wards-Montgomery Silver Fox

these are a pretty cool piece of early MX bicycle history. they only made these for a year or two.

i got one thats almost complete i found. it be nice to sell or trade for something because im not
going to do anything with it but its super heavy and would cost more to ship then its worth.
