Re: Mcs picked up from original owner.

Thanks everybody I just had to share. Its going to take some work to get everything apart and cleaned. The chain is seized in that position lol. And the freewheel and axles are seized. But it look like it will clean up good. big_smile

Re: Mcs picked up from original owner.

The chromer for MCS did a great job on those, my buddy had one bitd, the chrome was perfection the whole time he owned it. Awesome piece of history right there.

Re: Mcs picked up from original owner.

Update.
I gave the F/F seatpost a critic bath. It worked wonders, way better than I imagined. Now I knew there where some spots where the chrome was peeling. The large amount of rust hid some of it and this is what I'm left with. Also some smaller spots here and there. And some smaller spots where the chrome has lifted and will peel. I want to keep it a survivor. So what would you all suggest? I was thinking primer and chrome hobby/model paint on just the exposed parts.
