OG finish and decals...pads are the set I pieced together over the years. Trying them on for size. The bars are real og chrome with lots of wear. One of the last that I have.

Btw, it's a chromoly frame but first gen style design. Super rare probably end of 1979 but could likely be early 1980. Cowboy cut fork original to the frame. Found hanging in a Marin bike shop with later parts in the late 1990s.

'81 NOS OM that I sold on here about 3 years ago. Not the one in my previous photos. I still have that... original paint 'n decals.

I'd love to have a OM Flyer from the late 70's or early 80's but for now I'll keep enjoying my retro model.

Re-created my last race bike from '81 retro-style - an OM Flyer with Bottema fork, Kos bars, Tuf Neck and Phil hubs. All parts are retro/new school/tribute with the exception of OG gen 1 Phil hubs. 2016 OM frame w/powder by C4 Labs. Fork by True Torch. Sprocket and stem by Knight. Bars in the pics are Al's Rapid Transit. I didn't like them and changed to S&M Husky 4 Speed MX bars. MUCH better.

I've seen you post this one before - I've gone back a bunch of times to look at it again. Super nice!

Never intended to amass such a collection of OMs, but it just happened. Each was obtained for a different reason or purpose. 2012 Chrome (in the Museum), 2010 Yellow (bought for the red anno parts), 2009 SE blue (my first 26", loved it, then fell out of love with it; it is going to be repainted and reborn into a creation of my imagination), 2008 Red (the original new retro OM, still dreaming something up for this one)
