2018 New Year's Bicycle Resolutions

Happy New Year!

Have you any New years resolutions that are bicycle related for 2018?

Personally, I want to complete my 3 bar cruiser and have my "Thunder Moose" fork repaired and get that rolling again.

How about you?

2018 is the year:
to build up all my cruiser framesets!
cool
get rid off all the bike junk I am not using and just stop it already!
cool
somehow get all my family on a bike-ride at the same time!

Mine is just to ride as much as possible smile

Sell some stuff, narrow it down.

Since this pic, Ive hung 4 more, put 3 more in storage and have 3 mtn bikes hanging, then theres the disassembled stuff in the attic.

Re: 2018 New Year's Bicycle Resolutions

• Keep only 2 to 3 bikes Im going to actively ride.

• Only buy stuff if Ive sold something to generate funds to buy new item.

• attend more group rides.

• quit talking about it and actually go to practice night at track on weekly basis.

• if I do buy a new bike, only do so if Ive sold one of my 3 existing.

Re: 2018 New Year's Bicycle Resolutions

I actually wrote a 2018 bucket list the other day on the list was build a bmx. But as usual all depends on the money situation. But i definitely have some ideas in the pipeline.
I would love to enter a build of, just for shitz n giggles.
And before you ask i haven't owned a bmx since 88, so it's about time to get off my azz.

They're reacting and that's wonderful. It's better than them sitting there doing nothing. I say make them react - do whatever's in your power to move the audience, and if that's where it is, and there where it is with America, sex and violence, then I say project it.

A couple of my friends have a son who is a professional welder and I've been meaning to talk with him about restoring a Cycle Pro Foiler frame I have stashed away.

One goal done! I sent the fork to member metzone and he did a great job on my fork. Did all I asked to my specifications fast and at a great price.....

Re: 2018 New Year's Bicycle Resolutions

Throw away everyone's junk in my basement so I can have more room for bikes since I'm never going to sell any of them and can't stop building.

Looking for another set of Tioga Monoblock pedals.

-stop buying stuff I'm never going to use or ride

-build dirt jumps and fun box with a rail

-RIDE EVERYDAY

2018 will be the year I step away from the collecting.

Re: 2018 New Year's Bicycle Resolutions

Surprisingly a lot of folks have the same goals as me.  Finish the dream bikes I have in my collection, get rid of all the bikes I have no intention of ever riding and make life a lot simpler.  Ide like to realistically be down to around 10 or so eventually.
