"I've got cash in hand", means "I want what you have for sale and would like to buy it for the listed price". NOT, "ive got 20 cash."

Nice! Is that a blue gt seat on the chrome one? If so, thats a hard seat to find.

I regretfully sold off my Trick Star back around late 80s/ early 90s but always missed it. Finally got the bug and recreated it to about 99% accurate. The only way I'll let it go is when I become senile and my son leaves it in the yard to be stolen

Some great stuff in this thread! Always loved the day glo GTs cool Unfortunately the ones that I really loved are long gone. But the one I'm currently building I'm most definitely taking to my grave. My 2017 Hutch Trick Star smile

Very cool! I understand how you feel. My Freestyler was stolen when I was a kid and I was devastated. Built the one I have now as close as I could from memory. I will never let it go.

Re: Bikes You’ll Keep Forever

My childhood 98 Mach One (late 97 serial if I recall). I will be putting the OG parts back on it at some point, most should be around here somewhere, and will do something else for freestyle. I already put the OG bars back on, these bars that are on it in the pic were cut down a bit too far for my liking.

Also note I don't ride with the seat tilted like that, I find it uncomfortable, but I couldn't get it to stop slipping until I went he-man on the two allen screws a couple months ago when I was cruising around on it. Big thanks to the creators of the seat covers, makes riding it tolerable. big_smile

Perhaps not a high end bike, but I had a lot of fun on this. smile

And a big thumbs up to everybody's bikes in the thread!!! cool

Re: Bikes You’ll Keep Forever

As much as I want to keep them I always end up selling. It's not even about the money. I just want to keep building more and don't have room for all of them.

There are a few that I do wish I would have kept tho.

I really wish I would have kept this one:  http://bmxmuseum.com/bikes/diamond_back/63908

I bought those cranks off of you Shifty ! smile

One thing that I have seen over and over on the BMXmuseum is members willing to tarnish the reputation of another member by leaving nasty feedback before trying to resolve a problem like a reasonable human being.

In my 6 plus years as a staff member , this pisses me off almost as much as a scammer.
