Kuwahara Bravo team My grail!!

I bought one new in 87 after my Magician was stolen and foolishly threw it away in 91 when I got my DL. After all these years I fianally bought one back. The frame was in poor shape missing most of the paint and decals but the fork is really clean. I stripped the frame and refinished it today and will add the splatter next week. I will update the thread if anyone is interested in checking it out http://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/237800/9cd2868f-1f36-49d2-b3cc-210cbed36a4c5a3daf2792.jpeg

That builds gonna be pretty sweet! If Fork will be the only worn/scratched up part then restore imo.

Re: Kuwahara Bravo team My grail!!

Bill I have to say splattering paint was one of the most fun things I've done to a bike.  I did my atlas for fun a few years ago...I told my wife all my paint jobs are going to be spatter from now on.. hahahttp://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/46725/imag09895a3e4cbfc1.jpg

The painters and I were practicing Friday w diffrent brushes and paint thickness to get the right splatter. The original has little tails and not just drops it was harder than I thought and made a mess out of the wall can’t wait to try it for real next week. I’ll wetsand the clear w 1000 grit first

Really cool build!!!Let me know if you'd need pics of one OG  with good splatter...some have restored them with to much spatter and it takes away from the black finish...and I've been searching for a while on the correct black Peregrine crakes that came with it new.http://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/77641/kuwi-0025a3ea42284.jpg
