WTH? Launching a $32,000 ($3200) BMX Bike

Made by some company Bogarde. The bikes are pretty cool, but the whole marketing campaign is way too cheesy. I don't know if they are selling BMX bikes or cologne, super cringe worthy.  The snobbery is real high, something about BMX reaching its peak in 1991 and how it took years to craft the perfect contemporary bike that evokes all kinds of blah blah blah blah... lol  What do you guys think?

Re: WTH? Launching a $32,000 ($3200) BMX Bike

Yeah, they hired a bad marketing company.

Any background on the bike or company.  It would be odd to start a new bike company thats not an offshoot of a bigger one, or connected to a pro rider.

Guess it is a start up

brooks looking seat, redline looking rear drops with preditor holes, schwinn look alike bars, landing gear knock offs, tech 4 style lever, side pull brakes, dx style pedals, and a gusset that would be perfect for the 80s! only real thing on the bike is the sealed tuff II. and the sockless douche ridding it.

im ganna pass on this one.

Re: WTH? Launching a $32,000 ($3200) BMX Bike

Wow that was dumb.  There are tons of better 24s out there for way less than a grand.

But I guess morons with money will buy anything shiny if you can convince them it's "exotic" or "limited" somehow.

What a pos. Typical 'designers' thinking they know shit about shit. Throwing money at a Brooks knock-off because it will attract dummies like flies, rather than putting it where it matters. GTFO.

Also, their copy and all their photos indicate it's meant for the urban consumer, while their ad has them riding around in the mountains. EYEROLL.

Ha that's France for you. The bike looks cool. I was just in Paris a couple weeks back riding. Couldn't find much of a scene in the city for bmx while I was there anyway.
