He's your cousin. There is a lot of drama and the misinformation provided on so many level is off the charts. It's sad that usership here has diminished and those pages are gaining in popularity. I know here you get legit information. Sadly it takes longer to get it if you even get a response at all

yup just like Underground Velo. it was a grate  bicycle site. to go to for info and share  pictures. of classic BMX, mountain bikes , custom rat rod and home made frame build projects . but some one got the not so bright Ida . to start a face book page for it. now the official site is a ghost town. the face book site is full of all types of people. from god guys to a Holes.

I recently removed myself from all the BMX-related FB pages because I was sick of all the idiotic noobs... no research, no common sense, insane prices, misinformation... the straw that broke the camel's back for me was a noob on the Auburn FB page asking if the rear triangle on his Auburn was steel or aluminum, followed by the plethora of idiots contradicting eachother on the point. Racing, building, and collecting has been infiltrated with too many morons as of late.

Re: Why EVERYONE needs to stay away from BMX Facebook pages

Fuk Facebook. It is the place where amateurs are considered highly knowledgeable experts and extremely insightful. Any dumb ass can be the king of his own page and let the stupidity flow. Every time I check out a page I just end up shaking my head or pissed off. You may notice that 90% of the dipshits on those pages stay off the Museum because they don't like to have their asses put in check when they start to spew misinformation. That place is a tard fest designed for those with short attention spans and a hunger for "likes".

Funny that's kinda what they tink of us here on the museum  over at BMX Society... lol

The Society page (both facebook and .com) has its share of misinformation too.

Whenever I end up on the Society.com page all I hear is this...
