1997 Dyno Slammer

Very early version of the first year of this frame style and USA made.

Very early production...July 1996 is the earliest serial number I've seen for a 97 Slammer. No "Dyno" or "D" stamping on the frame where as later 97's were stamped. Local pick up and All Canadian Build Off project

Story of the pick up is here

Thanks man! I had the seat kicking around that I wanted to use to I matched to that. Surprised the reds from so many different sources ended up matching so well

It seems that most of my non-Predator chrome builds end up red/black/chrome... It just looks so good...

I was think of doing my Schwinn Prostock up the same but now I think I'll just pair up the aluminum frame with some black and chrome and a kick ass pad set!

Re: 1997 Dyno Slammer

I'm definitely a fan of the red and chrome! Also like your parts set up! I was hesitant once with red and chrome but seeing this it's actually inspired me. Maybe gonna do that kuwi up in the same fashion.

I wanted this to be close to stock but also a kick ass mid flatland rig! The grips aren't era correct. I have a new set of ATI grips I was planning on but the red on the Vans grips worked way better and the black bar ends created some balance with the colour. I also prefer the flangelss and lock on options for a flat rig.
