bike stands/storage

so once you get your bikes "built"...what kind of bike stands are you using?

I'm not talking about taking and showing the bike on a stand...just something to help keep your garage organized.

homemade...store bought...what you got?

Re: bike stands/storage

Bought this rack from Amazon, holds 5 and I'm happy with it, seemed more sturdy design than the silver ones they were selling...

I have (3) of these Racor Pro Gravity racks in the pool house.  Each rack holds 4 bikes, and they display well

Re: bike stands/storage

I hang them from the ceiling, and keep 2 in pvc wheel stands,  takes a couple minutes to swap the rotation.   Helps to build light bikes.

Re: bike stands/storage

I got one of those amazon 5x racks as well, but i like shark's setup.  I need to do that.  I have a ton of space in my garage i could use to do that.

I destroyed my Murray and Huffy bikes as a kid in the 80s while my friends rode nice bikes..  Shitty gear can cause injury and hurt your children. Hurting your children is child abuse...  Don't abuse your children!

Re: bike stands/storage

I use a couple of these screwed in to the beams in my basement. Couple of $ from Lowes, Home Depot etc. Hook the front wheel in and the back wheel rests against the wall.
